Mouth-watering refreshing Matcha iced latte

Cold, creamy, nutritious and delicious. Perfect iced latte to drink every morning for breakfast this summer.

My all-time favourite way to enjoy a matcha iced latte in the summer. I have a cup of matcha every day and this is my go-to recipe.

Coconut is a beautifully paired compliment to matcha so I encourage you to try it even if it is not your favourite plant milk. Obviously, you can substitute the milk for whatever you prefer. 

Matcha Iced Latte

Equipment

  • Electric hand mixer
  • A mug
  • A glass

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Matcha powder
  • Coconut milk
  • Caramel sauce
  • Water
  • Ice
  • 2 tsp honey

Instructions

  • At the bottom of a mug, add your matcha, honey and some boiling water. Using your electric hand mixer, mix until the matcha is fully incorporated.
  • In your serving glass, fill roughly with ice. Pour matcha over the ice and then add room temperature water. Make sure to leave room for the cold foam.
  • In the mug used for the matcha, pour milk in the mug. Add honey to the milk and use the electric hand mixer to froth the milk. When done, pour over the matcha.
  • As an extra, top with a caramel drizzle.
