Swoon for these Stir-fry Noodles
Why buy stir fry noodles when you can whip them up in 30 minutes or less?
Equipment
- Frying pan
- Small pot
Ingredients
- 1 Packet Stir fry vegetables
- 2 servings Egg noodles
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce (to your taste, soy sauce acts as a substitute for salt)
- 3 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce (or a sprinkling of sugar)
- 2 Steaks (sirloin)
Instructions
- Cut, wash, and season meat.
- Boil water with salt. Add the egg noodles to the boiling water. Take out when the noodles are al dente (semi-cooked). Add sesame oil and set aside.
- In a hot pan, cook your meat. After the meat is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan you used for the meat, cook saute your vegetables.
- Once the vegetables are done, add your meat and noodles to the pan and combine thoroughly.
- Add soy sauce to taste, black better, chilli flakes, oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce. Stir until fully combined.
- Lastly, serve.
Notes
Vegetarian adaptation: Cook tofu instead of steak and substitute oyster sauce for a little dark soy sauce.
